Inspiredby Jodi Ohl
If you look at my blog and art history, it is no secret that I have been struggling for years with a creative block. Fits and starts, perfectionism, all rolled up into a mess. Alas, I keep trying.
There was a time when art was my solace and comfort, and somewhere along the line, it became my nemesis.
Now I dig my way back of the way of wonderful online courses. Something to copy, just to get me started. I need a kick for sure.
I now know that all artists go through the ebb and flow of inspiration. Some dry spells lasting a whole lot longer than expected. That would be me. I should not complain, though, because before this decade-long debacle, I did not have one iota of an issue!

So here is today's offering, and I must admit I got into the flow with Jodi Ohl's Zen class. God knows I have art supplies coming out of..... I didn't even need to go shopping. Just a trip to the studio to see what I had forgotten I had.
Hopefully, this will help me calm and flow in a very turbulent season, creating just for me.
Faber-Castell Pitt Pens, Derwent Graphitint Paint, Stabilo All pencils, and Hahnemühle Hot Press watercolor paper, which I received in my new Sketchbox subscription (nothing like new art supplies to cheer one up!).
